Kids Eyewear Size Guide
A practical reference for reading frame markings and choosing the right fit -- from baby-sized frames to junior and teen sizes, based on our 800+ ready styles library.
What Does "44 □ 18 - 133" Mean?
Every frame temple carries a printed code that tells you exactly how it's sized. Here's how to decode each number.
Lens Width
The horizontal width of a single lens, measured in millimeters at its widest point.
Bridge Width
The distance between the two lenses, resting across the nose -- marked with the square (□) symbol.
Temple Length
The full length of the arm from the hinge to the tip that rests behind the ear, in millimeters.
Frame Width (the total front width of the frame, hinge to hinge) is not printed on the temple but is a key measurement we provide separately in our spec sheets and size chart below.
Frame Measurement Diagram
Four key measurements define a comfortable fit for a child's face.
These four measurements -- Frame Width, Lens Width, Bridge Width, and Temple Length -- together determine how a frame fits a child's face and head size.

Does This Chart Work for Asian Children Too?
This size chart follows the reference standard commonly used for Western children's eyewear. Unlike adult faces -- where facial structure differences between Western and Asian adults are more pronounced after full development -- children's head and facial proportions across regions are far more similar during growth stages.
As a result, this chart is generally applicable and reliable for Asian children as well, making it a practical shared reference for brands sourcing globally.
